A Trip to Remember

Our 2nd of Baccalaureate students travelled to Geneva, Switzerland, to visit CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), home to the world’s largest and most powerful particle accelerator.

It has been a very engaging and motivating trip, which has allowed students to broaden their knowledge on a wide range of topics: the universe’s origin, the constituents of matter, etc.

During their visit, they also had the opportunity not only to participate in a Computer Programming and Physics workshop, but also to visit the Red Cross’s original headquarters and to walk around the beautiful streets of the city.
