One of the most eagerly awaited by students in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/casvi.es\/en\/spanish-baccalaureate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Baccalaureate<\/a><\/strong> and the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/casvi.es\/en\/international-baccalaureate-in-madrid-diploma-programme-ib\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Diploma Programme (IB)<\/a><\/strong> at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/casvi.es\/en\/school\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Casvi Villaviciosa<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/casviboadilla.es\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Casvi Boadilla<\/a> <\/strong>is undoubtedly the end-of-year cultural trip. This year, the chosen destination was Italy, under the slogan &#8220;The charm of La Bella Vita&#8221;. A country that is the cradle of Western civilisation, full of art, history and landscapes, which has allowed our students to enjoy an enriching experience both academically and personally.   <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-674e2b4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"674e2b4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">A JOURNEY THROUGH THE HEART OF THE RENAISSANCE AND ANTIQUITY<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-649df07 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-child\" data-id=\"649df07\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-20230e4 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-child\" data-id=\"20230e4\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7f20cc7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7f20cc7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>For eight days, from 20 to 27 February, our students had the opportunity to visit some of the most iconic cities in northern and central Italy. The adventure began in Milan, where they visited the majestic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the Duomo, before continuing on to romantic Verona, famous for its Arena and old town. <\/p><p><strong>Venice<\/strong> was another of the most magical stops on the trip. The students sailed through its canals in private boats and enjoyed a traditional gondola ride after visiting St. Mark&#8217;s Square and seeing the skill of the artisans at a glass factory. <\/p><p>The route continued towards the cradle of the Renaissance: Florence. There they were able to admire the treasures of the Gallery of the Academy and the Basilica of Santa Croce. No less impressive was the visit to <strong>Pisa<\/strong>, where they followed the tradition of photographing the Leaning Tower and climbed to the Campanile to enjoy the views. Before arriving in the capital, the group explored the medieval towers of <strong>San Gimignano<\/strong> and the spectacular Cathedral of <strong>Siena<\/strong>.   <\/p><p>The trip culminated in Rome, the Eternal City. The students visited the Vatican Museums, St. Peter&#8217;s Basilica, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, immersing themselves in the history of the Empire. They also enjoyed the essence of the city at the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and the picturesque Trastevere neighbourhood. The final touch was provided by the Catacombs of Callixtus and St. Paul&#8217;s Basilica Outside the Walls before flying back to Madrid.
