The organisation of this event was a shining example of how our students put theory into practice. The initiative arose from the hard work, planning and enthusiasm of a group of students in Year 1 of the Diploma Programme<\/strong><\/a>, as part of their CAS (Creativity, Activity and Service) <\/strong> <\/a>programme of the International Baccalaureate.<\/strong><\/a> <\/p>

The authority<\/strong> and success of the project lay with the student organisers themselves. They all took on the challenge of managing the logistics, coordinating the routes and establishing the necessary partnerships with great maturity. Through this activity, they demonstrated their expertise<\/strong> in organising events with a real and direct social impact. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

To ensure the utmost reliability and transparency<\/strong> in the management of the funds, the race was organised in close collaboration with the prestigious association Unoentrecienmil<\/strong><\/a>. This foundation is a leading organisation in Spain in the fight against childhood leukaemia, channelling all its proceeds into research into this disease, which is the most common form of cancer in children. <\/p>

By joining forces with Unoentrecienmil<\/strong>, we assure all families that the efforts made and the funds raised will be put to a clear, specific and audited use: to fund scientific projects seeking a cure.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

MORE THAN JUST SPORT: RAISING AWARENESS AND FUNDS FOR RESEARCH<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The charity run for children with leukaemia<\/strong> had two key objectives that offer great value for the reader<\/strong> and for the entire Casvi community:<\/p>

  1. Raising awareness:<\/strong> The event served to raise awareness among all our pupils about leukaemia<\/strong>, from the youngest children in Early Years Education, <\/strong><\/a>through to Primary School<\/strong><\/a>, Secondary School<\/strong><\/a> and Baccalaureate<\/strong><\/a>. It was a unique educational opportunity to foster empathy and solidarity from an early age. <\/li>
  2. Fundraising for funds:<\/strong> Thanks to the involvement of everyone, we managed to contribute our grain of sand by raising funds which have been allocated entirely to research for research<\/strong> and to the improvement of the treatments for the children who suffer from this disease. Every euro raised is one step closer to a cure. <\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    We would like to highlight the generosity<\/strong> of the students who, as well as taking part in the run, made voluntary donations to the charity collection box set up for the occasion.
