Students from 2nd and 3rd grade <\/a>of Secondary Educativon of Eurocolegio Casvi International Private School <\/strong><\/a>are living a unique experience thanks to our Language Exchange Program<\/strong><\/a>. On this occasion, with the Lakes International Languages Academy (LILA)<\/strong><\/a>, located in Forest Lakes, Minnesota (USA). For the next six weeks, these young people will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a new culture, improve their English and create friendships that will last a lifetime. An exchange with Minnesota<\/strong> that has already been repeated in previous years. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

MINNESOTA EXCHANGE: MAIN OBJECTIVE<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This programme, known as “Minnesota Exchange”<\/strong>, aims to achieve a fundamental objective<\/a>: to promote language learning <\/strong>and intercultural understanding.<\/strong> In addition, Casvi Villaviciosa students stay with local families<\/strong>, which allows them to experience first-hand the daily life in the United States. <\/p>

In addition, they will participate in a variety of academic and extracurricular activities with their American classmates at LILA. Like us, their methodology is based on the International Baccalaureate.<\/strong><\/a> <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

“It is an incredible opportunity for our students. Not only do they improve their English, but they also develop social and cultural skills that will be very useful in the future,” <\/em>says Luisa Morreale, coordinator of the Language Exchange Programme <\/strong><\/a>at Casvi Villaviciosa.<\/strong><\/p>

During their stay, students will visit Minnesota landmarks, participate in joint projects and attend classes at the Lakes International Language Academy.<\/strong> This exchange enriches them academically, while giving them a global perspective <\/strong>and a greater understanding of cultural diversity.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Throughout this academic year, students from this school in Minnesota will also live a similar experience in our school, together with our families and students. This exchange with Minnesota <\/strong>is one of the many initiatives of Casvi Villaviciosa <\/strong>to offer a comprehensive and quality education to its students. In this way, it prepares them for the challenges of the globalised world. We cannot forget the international character of our school i<\/strong><\/a>n which four languages<\/strong><\/a> are taught: English<\/strong>, German<\/strong>, Chinese <\/strong><\/a>and Spanish <\/strong>for foreign students. <\/p>

The Casvi Language Exchange Programme<\/strong> is a fundamental part of the school’s educational philosophy. From these international experiences, it seeks to provide a comprehensive and quality education, preparing students to be citizens of the world. <\/p>

They are organised without any kind of intermediary agenc<\/strong>y, through direct contact with schools all over the world.
