Students in Year 13<\/a><\/strong> and the Diploma Programme (IB)<\/a><\/strong> at Casvi Villaviciosa<\/strong><\/a> are enjoying an educational experience of great educational value thanks to their academic trip to Geneva (Switzerland)<\/strong>. This stay is allowing them to gain first-hand experience of some of the leading scientific and institutional figures on an international level. This is the case with their visit to CERN<\/strong><\/a> (European Organisation for Nuclear Research)<\/strong>, one of the most important scientific research centres in the world. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

During their visit, students will learn about the Large Hadron Collider (LHC),<\/strong> the largest and most complex particle accelerator on the planet. Through explanations adapted to their academic level, they will be able to understand how scientists investigate the origin of the universe, the structure of matter and the fundamental laws of physics. <\/p>

In addition, they will visit the CERN Interactive Museum<\/strong>, where they will participate in hands-on activities that will facilitate their understanding of complex concepts related to subatomic particles, energy and fundamental forces.
