One of the most awaited by the students of 1st grade of <a href=\"https:\/\/casvi.es\/en\/spanish-baccalaureate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Baccalaureate <\/strong><\/a>and the <a href=\"https:\/\/casvi.es\/en\/international-baccalaureate-in-madrid-diploma-programme-ib\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Diploma Programme (IB)<\/strong><\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/casvi.es\/en\/school\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Casvi Villaviciosa<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/casviboadilla.es\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Casvi Boadilla<\/strong><\/a> is, without a doubt, the <strong>cultural trip at the end of the school year.<\/strong> This year, the chosen destination was P<strong>ortugal<\/strong>. A country full of history, culture and breathtaking landscapes, which has allowed our students to live an enriching experience both academically and personally.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-674e2b4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"674e2b4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">A JOURNEY THROUGH THE HISTORY AND CULTURE OF PORTUGAL<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-649df07 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-child\" data-id=\"649df07\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-20230e4 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-child\" data-id=\"20230e4\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7f20cc7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7f20cc7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>For a week, our students have had the opportunity to visit some of the most emblematic cities of <strong>Portugal<\/strong> and its surroundings. The adventure began in <strong>Trujillo<\/strong>, where they were able to get to know the birthplace of great conquerors. They did this before crossing the border to <strong>Elv\u00e1s<\/strong>, a walled city with a great historical legacy.  <\/p><p><strong>Lisbon<\/strong> was one of the highlights of the trip. The Portuguese capital welcomed them with its bohemian charm, iconic trams and emblematic monuments such as the Bel\u00e9m Tower and the Jer\u00f3nimos Monastery. No less impressive was the visit to<strong> Sintra<\/strong>, with its fairytale palaces. Also <strong>Cascais<\/strong> and <strong>Estoril,<\/strong> where the Atlantic Sea showed its beauty in all its splendour.   <\/p><p>The route continued to <strong>Fatima<\/strong>, one of the most important pilgrimage centres in the world. There, the students were able to learn about the history of the Marian apparitions. <strong>Coimbra<\/strong>, with its prestigious university, and<strong> Porto<\/strong>, famous for its cobbled streets and the majestic Douro River, were also part of the itinerary. Finally, on the way back, they stopped in <strong>Ciudad Rodrigo<\/strong> and <strong>Salamanca<\/strong>, two cities steeped in history and cultural heritage.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-da8d5b0 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-child\" data-id=\"da8d5b0\"
