Objective achieved! The End of Year Party in Casvi Villaviciosa for the benefit of the Casvi Foundation fulfilled all expectations: fun, fellowship, solidarity... After two years without being able to carry it out, it came back in a big way: with a full programme of activities for the participation of students, parents, teachers, etc. ….
The Covid-19 prevented this celebration but did not stop our Project in Piura. A three-storey building in the District of Castilla, in the city of Piura (Peru), which houses a soup kitchen where 120 people eat daily, as well as occupational workshops.
Thanks to these social services, a large number of people have seen their quality of life improve, which is why it was so important for the whole Casvi Educational Community to participate in this end of year party in solidarity with the Casvi Foundation in order to continue financing this and other aid projects. A solidarity activity closely linked to our educational model based on the International Baccalaureate.
This End of Year Party in solidarity with the Casvi Foundation under the same theme. The UN has proclaimed 2022 as the International Year of Sustainable Development of Mountains, so we recreated a Hawaiian tradition that pays tribute to them. That was the reason for the participants to show their best Hawaiian finery.
From there, everything started with the traditional CASVI CROSS in the categories of Pre-school and Primary Education.
In addition to table tennis, football and basketball championships.
But the best was yet to come and there was no shortage of preparations to make sure everything was perfect. Both teachers and students collaborated in the preparations – teamwork!
Afterwards, nobody wanted to miss the EXHIBITION of Modern Dance, Ballet/Flamenco and Rhythmic Gymnastics, corresponding to the extracurricular activities of the International Private School Eurocolegio Casvi.
Let alone the star event of the day. The Casvi Factor 2022 Dance Contest. The winning ensembles were:
“Friends will be friends”
Nor can we forget the exhibition “Homage to an artist: Ibírico” which could be visited in the Assembly Hall of Casvi Villaviciosa. A brilliant multidisciplinary artist who has also been studied in the classes of the School of Art.
This exhibition was accompanied by a second one with the best Personal Projects presented by our 4th grade Secondary students as the end of the MYP stage (IB Methodology).
Here you have the best images of the exhibition and the work done by our students in tribute to Ibírico.
Outside, the trophies were awarded for the Dance Competition and the different championships held throughout the day. Including the prizes for the Casvi 2022 Creativity Competition.
