In this X University Orientation Fair that the pandemic has forced us, once again, to carry out online, all the students of the Baccalaureate and Diploma Programme (IB) have participated. Their parents, who were also invited to this great opportunity to find out about the current university offer, also took part.
A University Orientation Fair that has been attended by nearly 40 public and private universities, both from inside and outside our country. Among them, the URJC, Carlos III, Politécnica de Madrid, Universidad Autónoma, CEU, Francisco de Vitoria, ISDE, Universidad Europea, ISDEM, Glion University, Falmouth University and so on and so forth.
But what is the aim of this fair organised by our Guidance Department? What other vocational guidance activities are organised at Eurocolegio Casvi International Private School?
The aim of Casvi’s Guidance Department is to help our students in their choice of studies. The way to do this is based on their motivations, aptitudes and attitudes, so that they can achieve their career goals. All this without leaving their school, and in this case, without leaving their own homes.
Through video calls via Microsoft Teams Platform, our students and parents in the Baccalaureate and Diploma Programme (IB) have received information about any and all of their possible future choices. Even if their university wishes are focused on international universities. Thanks to our International Baccalaureate methodology, with its three programmes (PYP, MYP and DP), many Casvi students decide to study abroad.
In addition to this University Orientation Fair, Casvi’s Guidance Department organises another series of activities that aim to:
At Casvi we are aware that the clearer our students are about their professional future, the more efficiently they will work towards achieving their goal.
To achieve this, vocational guidance at Casvi begins in 1st Grade of Secondary Education. A series of actions are programmed every year:
Finally, as a culmination of this work, the Guidance Department organises, in addition to the University Orientation Fair:
En nuestro colegio somos conscientes que el panorama profesional y formativo están cambiando a gran velocidad. Por ello, es fundamental que la orientación vocacional que reciben nuestros alumnos esté actualizada a los nuevos tiempos. Así, como novedad, a partir de 4º ESO proponemos, para cada uno de nuestros alumnos y de forma personalizada, 5 posibles profesiones. Todas con alta empleabilidad y que encajan con su perfil. Se les asesora, además, sobre la formación académica necesaria para alcanzarlos.
