Lights, camera… Action! The curtain has risen for another year in Casvi Villaviciosa to present the latest and most ambitious production of our theatre groups: “Casvway. The musical of musicals”. An exciting scenic journey through the great Broadway musicals, adapted and performed by our students with passion, talent and a lot of teamwork.

A CREATIVE TRIBUTE TO THE BROADWAY MUSICAL
From the first chord to the last applause, “Casvway” has become an unforgettable show. A theatrical production that has paid tribute to the most emblematic musicals of international theatre.
Throughout the play, the audience was able to recognise fragments, songs and scenes from such iconic titles as Annie, Chicago, Mamma Mia, Grease, Sonrisas y Lagrimas and Evita, among others. All of this with a common thread, adapted to the Casvi universe, which has given cohesion and originality to this collective production.
SCHOOL THEATRE AS A PROFESSIONAL SOUL
The final result is no coincidence. For months, the Casvi Theatre Groups have worked with dedication on every detail: acting, singing, scenery, lighting and staging. The students of the Casvi Choir have also collaborated with their participation.
This production shows that school theatre can be full of artistic quality and educational value. Through this project, our pupils have developed important skills such as:
- Oral and corporal expression.
- Self-confidence.
- Collaboration and mutual respect.
- Creativity and artistic sensitivity.
LEARNING THROUGH ART
At Casvi Villaviciosa we are committed to the performing arts as a fundamental tool for the integral education of our students. Participation in a theatre project such as “Casvway” reinforces not only communication and social skills. It also strengthens commitment, responsibility and a taste for culture.
And if we do so through the legacy of the Broadway musical, the learning becomes exciting, global and timeless.

“Casvway. The musical of musicals” has been much more than just an end-of-year play. It has been a celebration of art, of teamwork and of our pupils’ ability to shine on stage.
A project that shows that, with passion and accompaniment, our young people can go as far as the characters in any Broadway Musical.
