We have just celebrated the 17th anniversary of the Casvi Foundation in Piura, a solidarity project that represents the deepest values of our educational community. A journey of almost two decades transforming lives in one of the most needy areas of Peru. And all of this through education, health and social aid.
AN INITIATIVE BORN FROM THE HEART OF THE CASVI FOUNDATION
The Casvi Foundation in Piura is the result of the solidarity commitment of the entire Casvi family. Since its creation in 2007, this organisation has worked tirelessly to improve the living conditions of the people of Piura, Peru. This is one of the most impoverished regions in northern Peru.
Thanks to the impetus of the Casvi Foundation, this project has become a benchmark for international collaboration and direct action.

A REAL IMPACT THAT MULTIPLIES EVERY YEAR

It currently houses an Occupational Training Centre. It offers specialities such as Catering, Painting, Ceramics, Dressmaking, Hairdressing, Embroidery, IT…
The building also has a dining room where 140 people are fed daily. Among them are children and the elderly who have no recourse.
But not only that. Throughout the year, different activities, workshops or specific aid campaigns are carried out for different groups in Peruvian society. All of this is thanks to the solidarity of the Casvi Community and, of course, to the work of the volunteers in Piura.
CASVI FOUNDATION IN PIURA: A BRIDGE BETWEEN TWO CONTINENTS
Every year, students, families and staff from the different Casvi schools actively participate in solidarity initiatives to raise funds: Christmas campaigns, street markets, charity races, charity activities such as the end of year party… All with the aim of supporting this great common project.
Because the Casvi Foundation in Piura not only transforms lives in Peru. It also educates our own students in values, fostering empathy, commitment and global awareness.

A FUTURE WE CONTINUE TO BUILD TOGETHER
This 17th birthday is an opportunity to look back with pride and look forward with more strength than ever. Because there is still much to be done, and at Casvi Villaviciosa we remain convinced that solidarity can also be taught and learned.
Thank you to everyone who has made this project possible over the years! The Casvi Foundation in Piura is undoubtedly one of the most authentic expressions of our educational and humanitarian mission.
‘The elimination of poverty is not an act of charity. It is an act of justice. It is the protection of a fundamental human right, the right to dignity and a decent life.’
