Our Casvi Villaviciosa 5th year Primary School pupil, Ana Segovia Paíno, has shone at the Spanish Alevín Artistic Swimming Championships held in Barcelona. And she did so by becoming national champion of her year and achieving two second places with her club Aquamad Sincro, from Boadilla del Monte.
A HISTORIC TRIUMPH FOR OUR STUDENT
Our 5th E Primary student, Ana Segovia Paíno, has managed to become champion of Spain in her year (2015) in the recent Spanish Championship Alevín Promotion – Infantil 2nd division of artistic swimming, held at the facilities of the Picornell in Barcelona from 4 to 6 July.
With great talent and effort, Ana stood out not only in the individual event, but also in the team event, where together with her teammates from the Aquamad Sincro Club she achieved outstanding results.

SUCCESS WITH AQUAMAD SYNCHRO

Ana’s achievements in this championship have been:
- Spanish Champion in Figures in her year (2015).
- Second place in the junior duet with Adela Maldonado, with Leah Plaza as reserve (194.7595 points).
- Segundo puesto en el combinado alevín (121,0875 puntos).
These triumphs reflect not only the excellence of our student. They also reflect the great work carried out by the Aquamad Synchro Club, to whom we would also like to congratulate.
A HIGH-LEVEL CHAMPIONSHIP
The tournament brought together 37 clubs from 13 autonomous federations, with the participation of nearly 270 swimmers in the categories of Figures, Duets, Teams and combined routines. Among the Madrid representatives were the clubs Arriacense, Aquamad Sincro, Calipso, Somontano and Sincro Retiro. That is why Ana’s medals have so much merit. They have been achieved in a context of very high competition.
