WORKSHOPS ON THE SPANISH CONSTITUTION IN CASVI VILLAVICIOSA

After the official ceremony, the Primary Education pupils (from 1st to 4th Primary Education) took part in various workshops designed by their 5th and 6th grade classmates. The aim was to explore, in a fun and participatory way, the content and values of the Spanish Constitution. In addition, these activities, adapted to each educational level, allowed the students:

  • Reflect on rights and duties as citizens.
  • To discover how democratic institutions work.
  • Express their learning through creative activities such as role-plays, murals and small group discussions.

BENEFITS OF THESE ACTIVITIES FOR PUPILS

This day was not only informative in nature. It also served an important educational and training purpose. Activities such as these encourage the development of key competences among students, such as:

  • Teamwork: Collaboration in workshops strengthens the ability to respect ideas and work towards common goals.
  • Critical thinking: Reflecting on concepts such as democracy or human rights helps students to develop as responsible and aware citizens.
  • Oral and written expression: Participating in the reading and workshops allows them to improve their communication skills and confidence in public.
  • Civic awareness: It brings them closer to the fundamental principles of our society in a practical way.

In short, celebrating the Spanish Constitution Day in Casvi Villaviciosa has been an opportunity for our students to learn, reflect and, above all, to feel an active part of the democracy we are building together, a day to remember and to continue transmitting values!
