The Casvi Theatre Groups have once again filled the school auditorium with excitement, talent and Christmas spirit with two new productions: “Historias de un belén” (Stories from a Nativity Scene), performed by the younger group, and “Una boda por Navidad” (A Christmas Wedding), performed by the older group. Both performances, as different as they are complementary, have demonstrated our students’ commitment to the performing arts and the educational value that this art form brings to the International Baccalaureate (IB) approach.
"STORIES FROM A NATIVITY SCENE": THE MAGIC OF THE SMALLEST THINGS
The youngest students in the Casvi Theatre Group premiered “Stories of a nativity scene”. A tender, entertaining and creative play, which takes us through different scenes inspired by the classic Christmas nativity scene.
Through characters full of humour and sensitivity, the audience was able to enjoy a fresh proposal in which the youngest demonstrated their talent can also be cultivated from an early age.
The work highlighted the spontaneity, imagination and ability of children to tell stories that connect with the audience.
A CHRISTMAS WEDDING: COMEDY AND EMOTION ON STAGE
The Group of Theatre Casvi of a9> the elders surprised this year with “A Christmas Wedding”. In this play, comedy and emotions are intertwined intertwine to present a story full of entanglements, encounters family and spirit festive.
With mature interpretations, a dynamic rhythm and very careful stage work, a6> stage work very careful, the students demonstrated skills their own for more advanced productions. That is to say, mastery of space, body language, characterisation and dramatic construction.

This year’s Christmas performances have been a resounding success. And not only because of the quality. Also because of the involvement, the enthusiasm and the work that lies behind each work.
For the pupils, it has been an opportunity to grow, express themselves and share with the educational community a project that symbolises the effort of these months.
A magical end to a term full of learning, emotions and experiences that leave their mark.
