Today was a very special day for all of us. Especially for the students of the 1st International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme who organised the event. A Solidarity Race against Hodkin’s Lymphoma and Leukaemia in which all the students of the Eurocolegio Casvi International Private School took part. So did their teachers and relatives.
GOAL OF THE SOLIDARITY RACE AGAINST HODKIN'S LYMPHOMA AND LEUKAEMIA
The race aimed to give visibility to these two diseases, in collaboration with the “Unoentrecienmil Foundation”, as well as to raise money to cover the needs of children hospitalised due to these ailments. For this reason, collection boxes have been placed in different parts of the school. Donations can also be sent to the following account number:

The money raised will go to the hospital where Ana, one of the students organising the event, was admitted during her treatment for one of the aforementioned illnesses.
“The main needs of hospitalised children are not accessible to all of them,” Ana tells us. “The 1001esperanzas Association makes sure that they can access them by offering them, among other things, free television, toys, school supplies, refrigerators…”, she continues.
“Children with whom I shared the harshness of these diseases came from other cities in Spain where there is no treatment. That is why the whole family is forced to move. It is precisely the Foundation that is responsible for providing them with a home in which to live during the time that these difficult medical processes last”.she concludes.
