The Music School of the International School Casvi Villaviciosa has put the finishing touch to the academic year with an exciting End of Year Concert performed by its students. A very special event that once again demonstrated the transforming power of music in the integral development of the students.
LIVE MUSIC TO CLOSE A COURSE FULL OF LEARNINGS
The concert, held in two different sessions, brought together families, teachers and members of the educational community around the same passion: music. On stage, the pupils demonstrated everything they had learnt throughout the year. They did so, moreover, by performing musical pieces that reflected not only their technical evolution. They also showed their personal growth.
Under the guidance of their teachers, each intervention was the result of many hours of rehearsal, dedication and enthusiasm. “It has been exciting to see how they have progressed. Every note played and every bar performed has been a reflection of their commitment and love for music,” the teaching staff emphasised.
CASVI SCHOOL OF MUSIC: AN EDUCATION THAT GOES BEYOND THE NOTES
The Casvi Music School not only teaches how to play an instrument or read music scores. It is a space where fundamental values such as perseverance, creativity, concentration and teamwork are developed. A complementary artistic training that enriches the daily life of our students. On the other hand, it integrates naturally with our educational model based on the International Baccalaureate (IB).
From piano and guitar to singing or percussion, each discipline is adapted to the level and rhythm of each student. As a result, personalised teaching is promoted to enhance their strengths.

MUSIC AS A TOOL FOR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Numerous studies endorse the benefits of music at an early age: it improves memory, favours emotional intelligence, reduces stress and reinforces self-esteem. At Casvi Villaviciosa, we are committed to a comprehensive education in which music plays a key role in the development of artistic sensitivity and personal expression.
This end-of-year concert was precisely an example of this. The emotion of the audience, the excitement on the pupils’ faces and the pride of their families sum up the incalculable value of this experience.
