Organised within the framework of the Segovian Business Federation (FES) and the Association of Segovian Entrepreneurs Abroad (AESE), this event was attended by, among others, Andrés Ortega, president of the FES, and Juan Luis Yagüe, CEO of the Casvi Schools and president of AESE.
Among the authorities who attended the event were the mayor of Segovia, José Mazarías Pérez, and the delegate of the Junta de Castilla y León in Segovia, Raquel Alonso, as well as other mayors from different localities in Segovia. Pedro Palomo, honorary president of AESE, was also present.
REFLEXIONES CLAVE SOBRE LIDERAZGO Y CRECIMIENTO EMPRESARIAL
During the event, inspiring speeches were shared on the role of the entrepreneur in society and the importance of lifelong learning.
In his speech, Mr. Juan Yagüe, founder of the Casvi Schools and one of the hosts of this business meeting, transmitted a message of great depth, highlighting the importance of happiness as an engine for success. “To the extent that we are able to make others happy, we will be happy ourselves. It is a principle that never fails. The happiest people are those who one day decided to make others happy”.
On the other hand, he underlined the responsibility of business in building a fairer and more sustainable society: “Let us work for the happiness of others. Our companies must be sustainable in the broadest sense of the word, considering the interests of employees, customers, suppliers and communities”.
For his part, Juan Luis Yagüe, CEO of the Casvi Schools, emphasised the importance of learning and attitude as determining factors for success. “We live in a constantly changing world. What works today may be obsolete tomorrow. That is why continuous learning is not just a competitive advantage, but a necessity.
For Juan Luis Yagüe, moreover, “the difference between those who succeed and those who fall by the wayside is not in luck, or contacts, or even talent. It is in attitude”. That is why, in his opinion, “ideas alone do not change the world. Execution does. Many people have great ideas, but very few carry them out. Action is the key”.

A TRADITIONAL ENDING: THE FAMOUS "COCIDO" OF CASVI VILLAVICIOSA

The meeting culminated with a special tasting of the traditional “cocido” prepared by the cooking team of the Casvi Villaviciosa International School. Beyond being a gastronomic delight, this dish symbolised the patience, effort and unity that characterise both the business community and the Casvi educational model.
This business meeting also reaffirmed the importance of collaboration between the business world and education, highlighting the role of the Casvi Schools as a benchmark in the training of future leaders with a global, critical and proactive mentality. Undoubtedly, a day of learning, inspiration and connection that marks the path towards a better future.
