Grandparents’ Day at Casvi Villaviciosa is one of the most special celebrations of the school year. A day designed to strengthen the bond between generations and recognise the vital role that grandparents play in the education and emotional development of their grandchildren.
Another year on, families and pupils got gathered to share a morning filled with love, togetherness and learning. The event was full of surprises and unforgettable moments.
The day began with the traditional breakfast of “chocolate with “churros”, provided by the school. During the breakfast, grandparents, parents and pupils were able to enjoy a pleasant get-together before the show put on by the youngest members of the school took centre stage.
A JOURNEY THROUGH THE FOUR SEASONS VIA THEATRE
The sports centre at Casvi Villaviciosa was transformed into a colourful stage to host the theatrical performance “Journey Through the Four Seasons” , starring pupils from Preschool. They all demonstrated their talent, enthusiasm and ability to excel on stage.
Each performance transported the audience to a period of the year different, combining music, physical expression and set design in a production on stage full of creativity.
“The Polar Winter” – Performed by pupils in the first year of pre-school (aged 2), who made their stage debut, treating the audience to moments of tenderness and emotion.
“Spring in El Rocío” – Performed by the Year 1 Early Years pupils, who filled the stage with joy, colour and a festive spirit.
“Verano en Ibiza” – A cargo de los alumnos de 2º E. Infantil, quienes cerraron el espectáculo con una actuación llena de ritmo, energía y entusiasmo.
Each performance was the result of weeks of work in the classroom, reflecting values such as hard work, cooperation and self-confidence.
