Casvi Villaviciosa’s teams put in a strong performance in the Regional Stage of the MBA League

Students from Casvi Villaviciosa in the regional final of the MBA League

Last Friday, the entrepreneurial talent of Casvi Villaviciosa came together for the exciting regional final of the MBA League. After months of hard work, our representatives attended this event with the enthusiasm of those who know they have already won simply by getting this far. Although on this occasion the prizes did not go to our teams, the experience gained and the personal growth of the students have been the true reward of this project.

THE VALUE OF HANDS-ON LEARNING

Taking part in the Regional Stage of the MBA League has been more than just a competition. It has also been an extension of the classroom where theory is put into practice. Alejandro Herreros, the accompanying teacher, highlights the emotional and educational impact of the day: “It has been a unique experience. It has given us an opportunity to develop learning and skills that, at times, we cannot foster as much as we would like within the classroom. Seeing them work as a team, truly connected and focused on a common goal, has been very enriching”.

For the teachers, the effort put in has borne its fruits in seeing the attitude of the children: “The effort and the ‘extra hours’ have been rewarded with the enthusiasm and the motivation that we have seen in them”, adds Herreros.

STARTING A BUSINESS FROM SCRATCH

Throughout the process, the students have acted as genuine start-up executives. Ana María de No highlights the depth of the work carried out: “They have experienced first-hand what it takes to set up a business from scratch: from generating ideas to developing a value proposition and presenting it to a panel of judges”.

Beyond validating the business model, the professor highlights the development of transferable skills: “They have learnt to make decisions in uncertain environments and to defend their ideas with sound judgement and clarity. It has been a holistic learning experience that would be difficult to replicate in a theoretical setting”.

A spectacular setting for the final stage of the MBA League

Presenting a project to a panel of experts and a packed auditorium is no easy task. However, our students showed remarkable confidence. Teacher Marta Bernal makes no secret of her pride when recalling the presentation: “The students thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Presenting their proposal in such a large hall, with so many people and such a knowledgeable jury, is in itself a great achievement. They did incredibly well”.

We at Eurocolegio Casvi Villaviciosa would like to congratulate all the participants on their courage, their determination to overcome challenges, and for representing the values of our school so well. Well done, team!
