TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE AND PRIVACY iCASVI
The present conditions regulate the use and privacy of personal data through the iCasvi Application (hereinafter APP) available in Apple Store and Play Store, which allows access from mobile devices to the Intranet of the International Private School Eurocolegio Casvi (hereinafter Casvi) to Users who have a username and password. For any information or contact with Casvi you can visit the website www.casvi.es.
Users agree to these terms of use and privacy by downloading and accessing the APP:
- APP-Internet services:
Through the APP you will be able to access the CASVI Intranet services to consult the information related to the Agenda, Calendar, Dining Hall, Timetable, News and Communications related to students, and communicate with the school through messages and incidents. The APP is free but the cost for the internet connection to access the Intranet is paid by the user.
- Rights and obligations of Users:
The user agrees to use the APP only for access to the Intranet and the services offered therein. And the User must safeguard the access data (username and password) to prevent access by unauthorized third parties, being the user responsible for the use of Intranet services with your account access by unauthorized third parties. The User must change the password periodically to avoid its discovery by third parties. In case of any incident with the APP or the Intranet services, the user will inform Casvi.
- Confidentiality:
The information accessible through the information is for its use by Casvi and the User, and must be kept in a reserved way to avoid its access by people who are not authorized to know it, except for the information in the public domain, the information distributed publicly and the information disclosed by the User, without violating any confidentiality right.
- Data processing:
When using the App and accessing the Intranet, the User’s data will be processed to manage access through identification and authentication with the user name, password and device identity, as well as the User’s personal data and those of the student that are published/communicated through the Intranet. Casvi being responsible for providing the services of the Intranet, which are necessary to be able to provide such services. The User can exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition by sending a letter to Avenida Castilla 27, Villaviciosa de Odón 28670 Madrid.
- Access to device functions and permissions:
- Device identity and status: To identify the device and be able to send notifications. To know if the phone is receiving a call or external communication to interrupt the application.
- Query storage and SD card content: To be able to store, read and view and send the device’s files through the application.
- Network and data access: To be able to connect the application to the internet and to be able to obtain and transfer information.
- Device Suspension Control: To activate the device when receiving notifications and to be able to display them.
- Warranty and Duration:
Casvi will keep the APP and the Intranet services active for an indefinite period of time, without prejudice to its suspension for maintenance, updating, security or improvement. The User will be able to access and enjoy the services of the Intranet if he/she has an enabled access account, once he/she has unsubscribed. The access to the services of the Intranet through the APP may also be suspended for updates. or change of technology/access or communication system. In the event of an update of the APP, access to the Intranet with APPs of previous versions may be restricted, the user being obliged to use the new versions to access the Intranet.
- Responsibilities for the use of the App:
Casvi will not be responsible for the loss or non-custody of the user’s account and password, nor for allowing the User access to the Intranet to third parties. Nor for the destination or location where the information obtained by the User through the APP is published or stored.
- Security:
As a security measure in the use of the APP you must keep the latest update of the application installed, and keep the device updated with the latest versions. Log out of the APP or lock the device when it is not in the User’s possession. Make backup copies of the data and information of the device to avoid its loss.
- Intellectual property:
The User has the right to install and reproduce the APP in his/her device, being protected by intellectual property rights any other use of the APP, as well as its distribution, commercialization or modification without authorization from Casvi or the supplier that provides the APP. The logos, symbols, trademarks, images, databases and computer code of the APP are protected by intellectual property rights, not being allowed its copy, distribution, marketing or use outside the APP without the authorization of the owner of these rights.
