At Casvi Villaviciosa, imagination takes centre stage once again with the launch of the 10th edition of our Creativity Competition. After a decade of promoting talent, this year we are celebrating a milestone by inviting our entire community to immerse themselves in a fascinating and nuanced theme.
"IN COMPLICITY WITH THE NIGHT: THE THEME OF THIS YEAR
For this tenth edition, we allow ourselves to be enveloped by mystery and magic under the slogan “In complicity with the night”. As William Shakespeare said: “Who art thou that, cloaked in night, dost enter my secret thoughts?”
The night is not just a break for rest; it is change, it is the key that opens doors to contemplation, reflection and, of course, an inexhaustible source of inspiration for art and literature. We want our participants to show us their own vision of the night and the emotions it awakens in them.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE AND IN WHICH CATEGORIES?
This competition is a meeting point for the entire Casvi family. The 10th Creativity Competition is open to:
- Category A: Preschool Education
- Category B: Education Primary.
- Category C: Secondary Education and Baccalaureate
- Category D: Former pupils, parents and teachers.
ARTISTIC DISCIPLINES AND THE BIG NEWS: "OTHER SPECIALITIES"
As every year, we offer a wide range of disciplines so that each person can find their best form of expression: Painting, Sculpture, Photography (including editing and infographic drawing), Video, Music, Literature, Theatre and Crafts (the latter exclusively for Preschool Education).
New for 2026! In this edition, we are launching the category of “Other specialities”. We want to make room for any skill that does not fit into the previous categories: from cooking, dancing and sports to scientific experiments, computer science or innovation projects. If you have a different talent, this is the place for you!
DEADLINE, SELECTION AND DELIVERY OF PRIZES
If you wish to participate, please take note of the key dates and conditions:
- Deadline for submission: You have until 26 March to to submit your work.
- Format of submission: Physical assignments are submitted to the teacher of the subject (or to the Secretary’s Office for parents and former students). Digital copies should be sent via Teams to concurso.noche@casvi.es.
- Selection: Teachers from the Arts, Music, Literature and Theatre departments will make an initial selection. The final winning entries will be chosen by public vote.
- Exhibition: The works selected will be displayed in the hall of the Secretariat and the rest in the hall of events during the End-of-Year Party.
- Awards ceremony: The special event for presenting the awards will take place on the 8th of a13> May at the Salón de Actos de Casvi Villaviciosa.
