The international experience between Casvi Villaviciosa and Cascia Hall in Tulsa (USA) has come to an end, leaving an indelible mark on all the participants. During their stay, the American students have lived an authentic cultural immersion, enjoying new experiences, strengthening their Spanish and creating bonds of friendship that go beyond borders.
AN INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE THAT GOES BEYOND LANGUAGE LEARNING
The main objective of this programme is to promote language learning in a real context, but its impact goes much further. Through living with our families and students, the students at Cascia Hall have been able to learn about our customs, gastronomy and traditions. At the same time, they have shared their own culture with our educational community.
Among the highlights of their stay, the students participated in classroom activities, cultural and sporting excursions, as well as in special events organised for them. All of this has contributed to reinforcing their confidence in the use of Spanish and to living an enriching academic and personal experience.
A FAREWELL FULL OF EMOTION AND INDELIBLE MEMORIES
The last day was marked by emotion and gratitude. Students, families and teachers alike bid a fond farewell to their Tulsa classmates, knowing that this international experience, new to the school, was only the beginning of a relationship that will continue over time. The farewell was not a final goodbye, but a “see you soon”, with the hope of meeting again in the future.
Certainly between 23 March and 7 May. It will be the turn of our students to travel to Tulsa to live the same experience at Cascia Hall School.
