The Winter Break in Andorra has come to an end, and the pupils of Casvi Villaviciosa, from Year 1 Primary up to Year 4 Secondary, have returned home with big smiles, unforgettable memories and having learnt a great deal.
Over the past few days, they have enjoyed a unique experience in the snow, combining sport, socialising and personal development in a stunning natural setting. The Ski Week in Andorra has thus established itself as one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the academic year.
A WEEK IN ANDORRA FILLED WITH LEARNING AND FUN
From day one, the students took part in daily ski lessons with qualified instructors. They did so to improve their technique and gain confidence on the slopes of Grandvalira, considered one of the best ski resorts in Europe.
On the other hand, the White Week in Andorra also provided the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of additional activities, which made this trip a truly memorable experience.
In addition to the days spent in the snow, the pupils were able to:
- Visit the capital of Andorra
- Enjoy leisure and social activities
- Unwind at the Caldea spa
- Spending time with classmates outside the usual classroom environment
All of this has helped to strengthen our sense of community and create memories that will last a lifetime.
WHITE WEEK IN ANDORRA
MUCH MORE THAN JUST SKIING
The White Week in Andorra forms part of Casvi Villaviciosa’s educational programme because it enables us to foster the core values essential for the pupils’ all-round development.
During the trip, they put into practice:
Teamwork
The students have helped one another on every descent, with organising the equipment, with meals and in their daily interactions.
Autonomy and responsibility
From the youngest to the oldest, they have shown their ability to organise themselves, look after their kit and follow the group’s rules.
Self-improvement
Every day spent in the snow has presented a new challenge, which they have tackled with enthusiasm, hard work and perseverance.
Respect for nature
Being in the mountainous surroundings of Andorra has helped us appreciate the importance of looking after the natural environment whilst enjoying sport
EASTER IN ANDORRA: AN EXPERIENCE WE'D LOVE TO REPEAT
The success of this year’s White Week in Andorra confirms the importance of this type of activity within Casvi Villaviciosa’s educational model, where learning also takes place outside the classroom.
Sport, camaraderie, independence and fun have come together in a journey that leaves a lasting impression on all those taking part.
Following this wonderful experience, we’re already looking forward to the next Ski Week in Andorra, eager to take on new challenges in the snow once again.
Will you join us next year?
