Career guidance provided by former students is one of the most inspiring and enriching activities of the year at Casvi Villaviciosa. Yesterday, coinciding with the last day of the 2025 academic year, our students in Baccalaureate and the Diploma Programme from the International Baccalaureate had the opportunity to participate in a career guidance meeting with former students from the school.
This meeting allowed the students to receive information from a8> first-hand information about higher education, different academic pathways and career opportunities are available. Thus, they highlighted the real experiences of those who have already travelled part of that path. This practice is part of the commitment of Casvi Villaviciosa by offering a solid vocational guidance, up-to-date and useful for its students.
WHAT IS VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE WITH FORMER STUDENTS?
Career guidance with alumni consists of providing current students with the opportunity to learn first-hand about the professional and educational experiences of former students. These young people, now immersed in university studies or the world of work, share their experiences, overcome doubts and lessons learned with those who are about to make similar decisions.
This type of meetings provides a vision that is realistic and motivating. It also helps to clarify concerns about careers and professions. Finally, it strengthens the confidence of the students in their own process of choice.
