After two months of total immersion, the Internation al Private School Eurocolegio Casvisays an emotional farewell to the students of the Eisenhower International School in Tulsa, USA. This cultural and linguistic exchange has been a transformative experience for the students, the host families and the entire Casvi Educational Community.
A FAREWELL FULL OF LEARNING AND UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCES
During their stay, these young adventurers not only perfected their Spanish skills, but also got to know the cultural, social and gastronomic richness of our country. Thanks to the warm welcome of their host families, they were able to live the day-to-day life of an authentic Spanish experience, participating in school activities, cultural excursions and local traditions.
AN EXPERIENCE THAT TRANSCENDS THE CLASSROOM
The cultural exchange with Tulsa not only allowed them to improve their language skills. It also allowed them to develop values such as empathy, tolerance and respect for other cultures. “It has been an enriching experience, not only for the Tulsa students, but also for our own students and families,” says one of the teachers responsible for the programme.
A SECOND PHASE OF AN UNFORGETTABLE CULTURAL EXCHANGE
This emotional farewell marks the end of the second phase of the exchange. Just a few months ago, a group of 5th and 6th grade students from Casvi travelled to Oklahoma, where they lived their own cultural adventure in the Tulsa environment.
COMMITMENT TO GLOBAL EDUCATION
This Eurocolegio Casvi Cultural Exchange Programme reinforces the institution’s commitment to an international education that prepares students to successfully face a globalised world. Through these programmes, young people acquire skills that go beyond language learning. In this way, they consolidate a more open and diverse vision of the world.
With tears in our eyes and many memories in our hearts, we bid farewell to these young people, knowing that this is not a final farewell. It is the beginning of friendships that cross borders. See you soon, friends of Tulsa!
