ADMISSIONS EN CASVI VILLAVICIOSA

The Casvi Swimming Tournament brings the school year to a close with a splash, good values and plenty of fun

Swimming Tournament at Casvi Villaviciosa

Once again this year, the heated swimming pool at Casvi Villaviciosa has become the hub of excitement, camaraderie and hard work with the staging of our traditional Casvi Swimming Tournament. This event, firmly established in the school calendar, brings together Primary School pupils at the end of each academic year to demonstrate everything they have learnt in the water over the months.

The tournament not only serves to crown the fastest swimmers in each category, but also to highlight the significant benefits that swimming brings to the school’s educational programme.

HEALTH, DISCIPLINE AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE WATER

Swimming is one of the most well-rounded sports there is, and its ongoing practice at Casvi Villaviciosa aims to foster the all-round development of the pupils. Physically, this activity not only improves children’s motor coordination, cardiovascular endurance and muscle strength. It also promotes good posture during their growth spurt.

However, the real impact of the Swimming Tournament lies in the values it promotes. During the various heats and relays, the students test their ability to push themselves, learn to manage their nerves in competition and, above all, show absolute respect for their teammates. Seeing the pupils celebrate each other’s achievements and support one another with every stroke is the best reflection of the Casvi spirit.
