To celebrate the VIII European Week of Sport, promoted by the Consejo Superior de Deportes, the Physical Education Department of the International School Eurocolegio Casvi, has prepared a physical fitness session with a more playful and gamified character than usual.
Within the European Week of Sport and also within our weekly fitness sessions, we try to work on the 4 basic physical capacities. These are speed, endurance, flexibility and strength. Today we wanted to make students understand that doing some physical activity does not have to be boring.
In this way, as part of the European Week of Sport, we have organised a small team tournament of the traditional game known as “Pilla,pilla”. The students were able to work on their reaction speed in short spaces, as well as on changes of rhythm and coordination. Motivated by external agents in the form of obstacles and rules that conditioned the action.
