With the start of the summer, we were delighted to hear the news that the IB students at Casvi Villaviciosa have once again excelled in their grades. This year, the average mark obtained by them (31.1) once again exceeds the world average of 30.3. And to end the summer on a high note, last Friday we celebrated the awarding of diplomas to our latest Diploma Programme graduates (International Baccalaureate).

Students at Eurocolegio Casvi International Private School have once again demonstrated their academic excellence by surpassing the world average in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. With an average mark of 31.1, these students have not only achieved but exceeded expectations, consolidating the reputation of our school.

The end of August brought with it the long-awaited graduation ceremony. The Diploma Programme graduates received their certificates in an event full of emotion and pride. Teachers and students gathered to celebrate this important achievement in the students’ academic lives.
WHAT IS THE INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMME?
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is a two-year course for students aged 16-19. This programme is recognised worldwide for its academic rigour and focus on the development of the whole student. The benefits of the Diploma Programme include a solid preparation for higher education, the development of critical and analytical skills, and a global perspective that fosters intercultural understanding.
Graduates of the Diploma Programme, thanks to their high level of preparation, are able to successfully face the challenges of university education and the world of work.
This programme focuses not only on academic knowledge, but also on the development of skills such as research, communication and critical thinking. In addition, the IB promotes values such as responsibility, ethics and respect for diversity.
The DIPLOMA PROGRAMME AT CASVI VILLAVICIOSA
Eurocolegio Casvi in Villaviciosa, as an IB Diploma Program School in Madrid, has been recognised among the “100 Best IB Schools in Europe”. And it has been according to the prestigious academic advisors “IB Educations Advisors LTD”. The reason is clear. Because we are backed by our experience. We have been running the Diploma Programme since the 2009-10 academic year. Since the 2016-17 academic year, we have been doing so with the PYP Programme (in Kindergarten and Primary Education) and the MYP Programme (in Secondary).
