In an effort to promote digital health among students, a series of talks given by Guillermo Cánovas, an expert from EducaLIKE, have been carried out among Primary School, Secondary School, Baccalaureate and Diploma Programme (IB) students. These educational sessions have addressed crucial topics such as the responsible use of technology, cybersecurity and digital wellbeing.
ISSUES ADDRESSED IN THE EHEALTH TALKS
The themes chosen have been different depending on the year and stage at which they were aimed.
- 5th grade Primary Education: “Mobile connectivity”.
- 6th grade Primary Education: “Social networks, privacy and digital identity”.
- 1st grade Secondary Education: “Digital Health. The healthy use of technology”.
- 2nd grade Secondary Education: “Use, abuse and addiction. Preventing and identifying. From Pokemon Go to Clash Royale.
- 3rd and 4th grade Secondary Education: The problems associated with the use of generative artificial intelligence – ChatGPT-.
- Baccalaureate and Diploma Programme (IB): “Algorithmic Literacy”.
“Cybersecurity is a priority in our schools. We know that protecting our students in the digital environment is crucial. That is why we have implemented robust security measures, but we also know that the main security gap is our finger. We have to educate children in the good use of technology, always supporting and counting on the support of the families”.

BENEFITS OF THE TALKS
The talks given by Educalike at Eurocolegio Casvi International Private School have had a significant impact on the students’ digital training. Below are the main benefits that these educational sessions on digital health have brought to the students:
- Awareness and Education: Students have learned about the risks and benefits of using digital devices, promoting more conscious and safe use.
- Cybersecurity: Knowledge has been provided on how to protect your personal information and avoid online threats.
