The language exchange that Casvi Villaviciosa is organising with Cascia Hall Preparatory School in Tulsa (USA) has started with great enthusiasm. This exchange with the USA, which reinforces our commitment to international education, offers our students and the American students a unique experience of cultural and linguistic immersion.
THREE STUDENTS IN TULSA ALREADY IN CASVI VILLAVICIOSA
On the 5th of January, three students from Cascia Hall School arrived at our school to begin their exchange. Over the next few weeks they will live with our families and will be fully integrated into the academic and social life of Casvi Villaviciosa International School.
Yesterday, after returning from the Christmas holidays, the students joined the 3rd and 4th Secondary classrooms, where they will share experiences with their classmates until 1 February, when they will return to their country.
But this language exchange will not end here. Between 23 March and 7 May, it will be the turn of our students to travel to Tulsa to live the same experience at Cascia Hall School. During this period, they will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in American culture, improve their command of English and enjoy an enriching educational experience.
A coexistence which, in short, not only promotes language learning. It also strengthens cultural ties between the two institutions.
AN EXCHANGE WITH HISTORY
This is the second exchange with students from Tulsa (USA) that Casvi Villaviciosa has carried out, reaffirming the success of this project. Moreover, this programme is just one of the many international exchanges that we carry out. Our students also have the opportunity to participate in similar programmes with students from other states (Minnesota) and other countries (Canada and Germany).
MORE THAN A LANGUAGE EXCHANGE
At Casvi Villaviciosa, a language exchange is not only about improving language skills, but also about growing as a person. This type of programme encourages autonomy, empathy and respect for other cultures. All of these are fundamental values to form citizens of the world.
