Extracurricular activities
Our objective is always an integral education for our students. For this reason, the education we offer at Eurocolegio Casvi does not end when classes or school hours are over. There are many school activities that we organize to promote the development of much-needed skills to face the globalized society of the future; to broaden their knowledge; or to acquire values that will make them better people. These are the most important activities in our school:
EXTRACURRICULAR PROGRAM
It is essential for us to offer a greater variety of extracurricular activities each year, which complement the comprehensive education received at school and meet our high standards of quality.
It is also vitally important to detect the talents of our students, whatever they may be.
Hence this new catalogue of Extracurricular Activities for the 2025-26 Academic Year, which pursues a series of objectives closely linked to our classroom methodology, the methodology of the International Baccalaureate (IB) methodology with its three programmes (PYP, MYP and DP).
CHRISTMAS PARTY
Another of the school’s most beloved activities is our Christmas Party. For children in 1st and 2nd year primary school , it is a day of excitement, both because of the anticipation of the long-awaited holidays and because they get to show off all their creativity. Also of what they are capable of doing before an audience willingapplaud enthusiastically every moment of their performances.
END-OF-YEAR CULTURAL TRIP
In 1st Year of Baccalaureate there is an organised cultural trip at the end of the year to Andalusia or Italy, lasting ten days. Thus, thanks to this school activity, they not only immerse themselves in the culture and gastronomy of these areas. They also enjoy an unforgettable experience of living together.
WHITE WEEK
Another of the school’s most popular activities is the trip that takes place during Semana Blanca. Students who wish to do so, from Year 1 Primary to Year 4 Secondary, can participate each year in the traditional White Week trip to Andorra. Specifically, to the Grandvalira Ski Resort. There, they can practise their favourite sport while learning to develop as individuals, to better themselves, and to live alongside their classmates.
GRANDPARENTS PARTY
In 1996 it was decided to organize a school activity aimed at a very specific and beloved public: the party dedicated to grandparents who are so important in the lives of our children. A show starring the Kindergarten pupils, which becomes their first creative and artistic experience. All of this is accompanied by the tasting of a delicious chocolate with churros made in our kitchen by the center’s own staff.
END-OF-YEAR SOLIDARITY PARTY
It is tradition to say goodbye to the school year with a Solidarity party. Activity of the school which not only serves as a meeting point for fun, but also as a fundamental charity event for financing the aid project that the Casvi Foundation offers in Peru. Many activities are organized: dance and talent contests; athletics, soccer and basketball championships; exhibitions; bouncy castles; raffles; solidarity markets…
GRADUATIONS
It is in May when our Baccalaureate and Diploma Programme students become the protagonists of an unforgettable school activity: their Graduation ceremony.
Similarly, a week before the end of the school year, in June, another no less important Graduation ceremony takes place, that of Infantil.
COMMUNIONS
We offer the possibility of having the Communion inside our facilities. Catechesis is planned for two years (3rd and 4th Primary School).
