Choosing a university degree is one of the most important decisions in a student’s educational career. Aware of this, Casvi Villaviciosa held its 14th University Fair today, a key event in its vocational guidance programme. An event designed to help students build their academic and professional future with discernment, information and confidence.
MORE THAN 40 UNIVERSITIES COME TOGETHER TO OPEN PATHS TO THE FUTURE
The sports centre of the Casvi International School in Villaviciosa has become a real meeting point for the students of 4th year of secondary education, 1st and 2nd year of Baccalaureate and of the Programme of the Diploma (IB).
In this edition, the fair has had the participation of more than more than 40 academic institutions across the country, both public and private, national and international.
During the event, students were able to talk directly with university representatives, ask questions about degrees and career opportunities, and learn about admission requirements. They also learned about international programmes, scholarships, and financial aid. Above all, they were able to compare different options before making an important decision.
This diversity has enabled us to offer a broad and realistic view of the current university landscape, tailored to the different interests, abilities and objectives of each student.
VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE: A CONTINUOUS PROGRAMME, NOT AN ISOLATED EVENT
In Casvi Villaviciosa , the guidance vocational is not limited to specific events. Forms part of a comprehensive programme that includes:
- Activities for students to know and assess their own abilities, motivations and interests by reflecting on their competences, skills, abilities, aptitudes, etc.
- Vocational orientation questionnaires in 4th grade of Secondary Education and 2nd grade of Baccalaureate.

THE IMPORTANCE OF GOOD VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE

At Casvi Villaviciosa we understand that accompanying the student in this process is as important as offering a academic education of high quality. For this reason, we work in a coordinated manner with students and families so that every decision is well-founded.
