Today, the Preschool and Primary pupils have returned to the classrooms and have experienced their first day back to school in Casvi Villaviciosa. A day marked by smiles and nerves, by the first steps of the little ones and by the excitement of the reunions between friends and teachers.
Among the most endearing anecdotes were the families of former students like this one, who today return with their own children. In this way, they reinforce the generational link with our school.

WHAT ROLE DO TECHNOLOGIES PLAY IN THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR?
At Casvi Villaviciosa, technology is integrated as a pedagogical tool at the service of learning. Tablets, digital whiteboards and interactive platforms encourage autonomy, research and critical thinking. Always in line with the methodology of the International Baccalaureate (IB).

WHAT SUPPORT IS BEING PROVIDED TO STUDENTS IN THIS NEW SCHOOL YEAR?

The teaching and guidance team works from day one to offer academic and emotional support. Adaptation programmes, personalised tutoring, integration activities… All this helps pupils to feel secure and motivated as they begin their return to school.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE FAMILY IN THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR?
The family is an essential pillar in the education of students. At Casvi Villaviciosa we promote constant communication between school and parents, with meetings, interviews and digital tools that allow close monitoring of each child’s progress. In this way, education becomes a shared effort.

HOW IS CULTURAL DIVERSITY BEING ADDRESSED IN THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR?
Our international environment, with students of multiple nationalities, makes cultural diversity a source of richness. Collaborative projects, language exchanges, intercultural celebrations, and the opportunity to learn up to four languages (English, German, Chinese, and Spanish for foreigners) allow each student to learn to value and respect other realities. In this way, they also broaden their view of the world.
“Between new backpacks, nerves and the occasional tear… I’m almost more excited than my son on his first day back at school!”
WHAT IMPACT WILL THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR HAVE ON STUDENTS?
Beyond academic learning, this new start back to school is about personal, social and emotional growth. The contact with new subjects, experiences and friendships boosts self-esteem, fosters resilience and develops skills that will accompany students throughout their lives.
“The best thing about going back to school is seeing my friends… Although, I’m so scared of homework!”
