WHY THIS AWARD, THE SUPPLEMENT TO THE CASVI VILLAVICIOSA EDUCATIONAL PROJECT?
Thanks to its innovative educational project and its experience and rigour in the implementation of the International Baccalaureate methodology at all stages, Eurocolegio Casvi Villaviciosa has become an international school of reference. For this reason, it has also been recognised among the 100 Best IB (International Baccalaureate) Schools in Europe by IB Educations Advisors LTD.
Our educational programme does not focus solely on the acquisition of knowledge. Also in inquiring, expressing, representing and sharing. Hence the practical nature of all subjects, as proposed by the International Baccalaureate. Through its three programmes (PYP, MYP and Diploma Programme), students develop their potential in many areas. Values, skills, content and multiple competences. In addition to methodological and technological innovation, new languages (English, German and Chinese) have been added to the curriculum at Casvi Villaviciosa since its foundation in 1985. AWARDS THE SUPPLEMENT
The El Suplemento National Awards were born out of a desire to shed light on a country in the midst of an economic crisis. A crisis in which the work and effort made by large and small companies, long-standing professionals or entrepreneurs who had recently entered the labour market, was not rewarded.
Among the 34 winners in this 11th edition, together with Casvi Villaviosa, the Antonio Gades Foundation stands out. Also, synchronised swimming champion Gemma Mengual. The musical group Tanxugueiras. Or the writer José Manuel Otero Lastres.
