Casvi Villaviciosa IB School Spain is one of the few public schools in our province to offer the International Baccalaureate Continuum of Programmes. It is an international educational foundation, established in 1968 in Geneva, Switzerland. It does so with the implementation of its three programs. Estos son: PYP, MYP y DP.
IB METHODOLOGY
Casvi International School Villaviciosa, IB School Spain, is among the few private schools in Madrid (School of Madrid) and among the best IB schools in the world, offering the International Baccalaureate Organization’s Continuum of Programmes, an international educational foundation. It was founded in 1968 in Geneva, Switzerland. As an IB School Spain (Global College) we do this with the implementation of its three programmes. These are: PYP (Primary School Programme in Kindergarten and Primary Education), MYP (Middle Years IB Programme) and DP (Diploma Programme)….
These three programmes encourage students to achieve their academic and personal goals. They also encourage transdisciplinary learning from an early age. Something that leads them not only to excel in their studies, but also in their personal growth.

EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management – European Total Quality Model
EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management – Modelo Europeo de Calidad Total). Management model that we introduced in 1998 with the first self-evaluation of the school. The highest recognition, +500, was obtained in 2013. Score that has been renewed in 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022.
MADRID EXCELENTE
Within the regional excellence model, and following an assessment with similar objectives to those of the EFQM, we have also been recognised with the “Madrid Excelente” mark. Shortly afterwards, in 2012, we received the Madrid Excelente “customer trust” award. This shows, once again, that our management has been externally recognised.

INNOVATION
As an IB School Spain, based on the International Baccalaureate methodology implemented in all stages of Casvi Villaviciosa, we believe that it is essential to create routines and work habits in our Primary School. Both are necessary for their successful passage through Secondary (MYP) and Baccalaureate (DP). For this reason, emphasis continues to be placed on the promotion of reading and oral and written expression.

LINGUISTIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION
In addition to methodological innovation, there is also linguistic and technological innovation. Since its foundation in 1985, new languages (English, German and Chinese) have been added to the Casvi Villaviciosa curriculum. New subjects, such as Technology, Programming and Robotics.
There are also new experiences that emphasise our international educational character, such as the Language Exchange Programme, for which we have agreements in different countries. In fact, as an IB school, the development of global competence is a constant for students. It does so by following an international curriculum and multilingualism. But also to the coexistence and collaboration with students from any country in the world.
Eurocolegio Casvi International Private School is part of the Casvi Educational Group. This group is made up of two other schools. Casvi International American School (of Tres Cantos) and Colegio Concertado Eurocolegio Casvi Boadilla.
